Bio: Ellen Whyte has continuously fronted bands for over 30 years and she has four critically acclaimed albums, including her most recent, Four Way Stop. As a child growing up in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Ellen was captivated by music. Leaving behind the humidity and the taffeta dresses of her accordion marching band, she stretched out into blue grass, gospel, rock, blues and jazz.

Ellen is known for her astonishing vocals and percussive rhythm guitar playing. She's won numerous awards for her recordings, including consideration for two Grammy Award nominations in 1999 and another in 2009. She performs as a soloist, in duos and trios, and from her five-piece up to a full nine-piece band, which includes the ESP horn section.

Grammy award producer Dennis Walker had this to say after working on the third CD, Standing at the Sunrise: "[Ellen] not only sings like an angel, but brings her own styling and phrasing to every song that is completely individual. Thank God for Ellen Whyte who is one of the last few who can still sing blues and pop and jazz, and still stand up on a stage and sing big band standards with the best of them."

Bio: Levi Warren is a Vancouver, WA native with over twenty years of musical experience.  Growing up in the Warren house meant lots of singing, guitar and piano playing, and Levi soon developed a passion for music.  In junior high he picked up the bass, and throughout high school and college was active on the music scene in a number of bands.  Now, after nearly fourteen years of playing bass for others, Levi has decided to embark on a project of his own.  Taking the folk influences of his childhood, he has handcrafted a number of thoughtful, quiet songs, perfectly reminiscent of a life spent in the Pacific Northwest.  He hopes these songs will remind you of good coffee, rainy afternoons and joyful walks through the forest.  Enjoy.

Bio: Jean-Pierre Garau enjoys an active artistic vocation playing piano, keyboards and singing – among other music related endeavors. He’s performed as a soloist and with many acts over many years - currently performing in various ensembles with singer Ellen Whyte (including Ellen, Gene & Jean with bassist/vocalist Gene Houck), Concert Rock Violinist Aaron Meyer, guitarist/producer Tim Ellis and with more than a few regional singer/songwriters.

JP’s played keyboards on many album projects, documentaries, industrials, regional and national TV and radio spots. In addition, he’s a composer, music adaptor, chart writer and music educator.

JP lives with his wife Suzan in Portland, Oregon, has twin daughters, 12 cats and several tanks of freshwater tropical fish. He enjoys cooking, gardening, walks on the beach, man flicks and digressing.
